Good Times

Hi EveryonE:

Hope everyone is well!  I have had a very busy week! West Point has been on the brain as always but if I kicked cancers ass hopefully I can do this with half the pain.  HA well just have to see Cancers in Remission???? but West Point lives on.  At least West Point is over in December hopefully.  Had the first big test this week so we shall see how Chemo Brain and not being in school for 20 years combine to make the total school experience????  I was able to teach in the Police Academy this week and had a pretty good time.  It was busy but very fullfilling week teaching recruits is something I really enjoy.  I could not be on the top of my game as I cant train the way I used to.  Actually tore up the old abs a little teaching the mount escape.  The mounted position is a jiu jitsu technique where the opponent takes the top posistion while the other person is lying on there back.  The person on top gets there hooks in or interlocks there legs underneath the bottom persons.  So you gotta get the person on top off you quick or its Ground and Pound for the guy on the bottom.  So I was in some not so cool pain for about two days but it seems its just sore muscles yeh another near miss.  Tommorow is a big day I will be cooking at Bruce Thompson's benefit in Galloway NJ.  Bruce lost a valiant fight with cancer on Sept 3, 2005.  So it will be a big Saturday with my big grill. Ill be making some of my famous chicken and some other stuff.  I was going to make ribs but I bought 6 racks today and they were all bad.  Took em back and got my money back plus a 40.00 dollar store credit at Sams.  Apparently thats what they give you if you buy bad meat how cool is that!!!!!!  I left with more then I went in with and trust me that never happens.  So all is well here Im Off.  Prayers for the list and for all who need em.

God Bless

Randy
